I started working with Coach Chris in the Fall of 2021. I have consistently worked out for 8 years and wanted to take on a new challenge. Olympic Lifting piqued my interest, but I found learning the new sport very daunting as it is very technique based. I looked for a local coach and found Coach Chris. His USA Weightlifting Level-2 is the highest certification able to be tested for and I decided he would be an excellent choice!
I started a program 3 times a week with him. He taught me the basics for the snatch and the clean and jerk and even increased my overall strength during this period!
Starting a new sport was very mentally taxing, and Chris pushed me when I felt at my limit. I would not have been able to develop as much as I have without his instruction. I've gained so much self-confidence as I felt my body had a purpose. I was transitioning from aesthetic goals to functional goals and ended up fulfilling BOTH!
Through this experience, I learned to believe in my coach, myself, and my strength.
My son plays for the GABL Future basketball program and I quickly saw the improvements that had taken place under his wing and knew what I had to do.
We invited Coach Page to run our premier level soccer team through speed and agility progressions during our ramp up into the spring season. The team improved leaps and bounds to become better overall athletes and teammates during the process.
